Grace For Mom

Motherhood is exhilarating... and exhausting. We have high standards for ourselves as moms, high standards for our children. We yearn to be perfect and have perfect children. Did we miss the memo on the Fall in the Garden of Eden? Perhaps we're just ignoring it.

No matter how hard we try (believe me I try), we aren't perfect (perfect yelling pitch doesn't count). We all make mistakes. We all have bad days.

It's actually our imperfection that points us to our need for God. It's my prayer that the "Grace For Mom" blog will help us overcome perfectionism and teach us to be "grace-full" moms, moms who rely on God's grace to make us the mothers He intends us to be.
